The only famous Belgian is Adolphe Sax, who invented the sousaphone, named after his wife Susan who also had a deep baritone voice. Later Philip Sousa invented the saxaphone and named it in Sax's honour. Since the sousaphone sold so badly Sax was forced to return to the family salt business, Saxa. Saxa from the English Beat was known as such as he used to be an 'old salt', i.e. a sailor, in reference to the famous brand of salt, and he only later took up the horn.

I guess
life goes on. Desmond lost his barrow in the market place when Molly Jones divorced him and took up with the band's bass player... Poor Desmond just stays at home and puts make-up on his face ... It's not a pretty sight.

This introduction to Kiss's first album (which was originally intended to be an Ogden's Nut Gone Flake type concept album, but ultimately departed from that format) was later removed due to litigation issues with Apple Corps.

Archaeologists have been digging in what is now northern Italy When they discovered the very first guitar ever made. The guitar was made over 20,000 years ago.
The two string instrument was made of rock and on the headstock was the name Gibstone. Scratched on the back was possibly the owner's name It's hard to make out but after translation, the team thinks it says Flintstone. Under the name was the words Fred and the StoneTones... This artist rendering shows what it may have looked like back 20,000 years ago when it was played.

I dont speak german to my dutch in laws. They dont speak dutch to me. I understand the reasoning. Although we could probably understand each other if we tried.

So we butcher the english language.
Dutch is my native language, but I had to learn some English to understand my Fender bass.
When I play double bass, double Dutch comes in handy.

It's all Greek to me, though. Luckily I did ancient Greek at school (although it was just Greek then) so I understand Pythagoras and thus scales and music.

Having done Latin and Greek at school I could become Prime Minister, in which case I will ban banjos and accordians.

Canadians buy more guitars per capita than any other country.

Other notables (all per capita):
Japanese buy the most Theremins,
Americans buy the most banjos,
Britons buy the most accordions,
the Dutch the most keyboards (excluding pianos), and
Australians the most vuvuzelas.

I can expand a bit on the keyboards, since i'm living in the netherlands. We, the Dutch, love pushing buttons. Whether it's the right or the wrong one, we don't really care. The little kid who put his finger in the dike? it was just an underlaying wish to push buttons. When we see keyboards we want to push on it. Hence the armoured shop-windows at every keyboard store. The lack of piano's is because a grand-duke, Jan-Diederik van Fleppenstein, once was flattened by one pushed out a window, which was a great disaster since he had found a way to make taxes obsolete and therefore was a very popular guy.
