Let's spread some musical misinformation

It was only after their first album, that Steve Harris was told that his extra long scale, 4-string guitar actually was a bass.
Everyone thinks that Iron Maiden was named for an ancient torture device. However, in reality, Steve Harris was a big supporter of Margaret Thatcher. They met at a West Ham United game.

Also, listen carefully to Katy Perry's next album. She is also a West Ham fan and as a result Steve Harris will be playing bass on future albums. Negotiations are still underway to determine if he will be touring with her.

As the name Iron Lady was copyrighted by Margaret's management, they went for Iron Maiden. Funny detail, right now I'm wearing the Fear of the Dark shirt.

This really happened--it's a touched up photograph.

Cables MUST be wrapped in a clockwise fashion. If they are wrapped counter-clockwise, the electron spin will go against the flow of the cable and reduce output.

Of course, this is reversed in the southern hemisphere. Magnetic field, you know.

True. That is why the opposite of clockwise is referred to (in some circles) as "clockfoolish".

Mary Poppins was lip-syncing to a Milly Vanilli studio outtake of My Favorite Things, during the filming of her eponymous blockbuster, according to Rorters. When the mainstream press got wind of it, all heaven broke loose: Poppins was apprehended by the Thought Police, or was it the Keystone Cops — hard to tell — and her umbrella and mittens were unceremoniously confiscated.

When she begged to know why, it was revealed that Milli Vanilli had requested her brolly as compensation. No one told them it wasn't a magic flying parasol and they were planning an autonomous umbrella-powered holiday to the Bahamas. Mortified, they swallowed their pride and still had their holiday. They settled instead on Jersey and they took a cab.

And the mittens? That's another story entirely. Before we go any further, No. There were no kittens involved, not directly anyway, according to the Thought Police who made no further comment, citing tangible threats of copyright infringement proceedings and a pile of extra homework.

No kittens were harmed in the making of this misinformation. Milly Vanilly may be a little miffed, and, for that, we apologize.
