Let's spread some musical misinformation

Some endorsing punk rock artists demand an F string between M and G. According to them this is required to make super fast hardcore punk a lot easier to play.

This in turn led Jackson, in their Charvel line, to create a short-scale version that places a W-tuned string over a T string, while retaining the Ibanez idea of a third string. Taking advantage of the new Ibanez-speedpunk-inspired tunings, the third string is an F.

Putting a maple neck on a mahogany body is unwise. The resonance will be off resulting in poor tone in all modes except Locrian. Also, stainless steel strings will go dead much faster. Despite what the internet "gurus" claim, this can not be fixed by changing or removing the tone capacitor.
It is the two different types of wood touching one another. It causes logtrolysis.

Most 8 string bass players are using the bass incorrectly. The correct way to play these basses is to play a bass line on the bass strings and a melody line on the octave strings. It allows the bass player to cover both bass and rhythm guitar parts allowing the guitar player to play soaring leads all through the song increasing audience engagement. 12 string basses are even more complicated as the bass player should be playing a bass line, rhythm guitar and lead guitar simultaneously. The lead guitar player then need only strike poses to engage the audience. Unfortunately, few audience members believe that Tom Petersson is the only one playing on stage for most of the show.

Reviving strings in just alcohol is only half the truth. The Austrians, inventors and producers of the famous Thomastic-Infeld strings, have their little secret: Stroh Rum. Take half the content of a large (1/4 gallon) of Stroh 80 to soak your dead strings for 24 hours. Then put them back on the bass again. Tune to pitch and drink the rest of the rum. Wait for another 30 minutes and your strings will sound like brand new.

The best use of alcohol when your strings are dead is to use it on the audience rather than the strings. If you don't have enough alcohol for that just use it on yourself and you won't care if your strings are dead or not.

This story is called, Poor Billy...
Sally has three basses in her room. Her first base is a four string, her second base is a 5 string, and her third base is a rare 15 string bass. Billy sometimes comes over and plays Bass with Sally . but when Billy told Sally's parents that he was so happy he got to the third base with Sally ... they kicked him out of the house. Poor Billy!

The funny thing about Schrödinger is... Today he is dead and in a box....

as for the strings on the bass in the case.... they once made strings out of catgut.... so we should be able to say the cat is at least dead !!!!

Schrödinger's grave !!!

Not true. Schrödinger specifically stated that the strings are both alive AND dead until observed! Just opening the box is not enough. If observed and the strings meow, they are alive. If not, they are dead. But... What if you are deaf?
...but if the strings are made from catgut, the cat will be dead for sure.

Or IS he....

Keith Moon had his cymbals angled a certain way - so when the audience threw tomatoes at him they would slice in half on his cymbals.... all Keith had to do was add some lettuce and Italian seasoning and he had a nice salad

Kieth also had a source for romaine lettuce that wasn't recalled. It's the only lettuce that romaines....

Schrödinger could have been a great bass player, if he wouldn't have been so darn uncertain. "A root? A fifth? Maybe a root sounds better? Maybe a fifth?"
Forgive my pedantry, but..that was Heisenberg that was uncertain. He said you couldnt play a note without changing it. Schrodinger said that both sounded exactly as good, until you actually played them.
