Before Peg Bundy was a ditzy mother of two, she could actually hum any song, any instrument's part in any song, and in perfect pitch, even if she had never even heard the song before.
She was actually known as the world's greatest hummer and people would travel worldwide and pay exorbitant fees just to experience her masterful humming.
At one international hummer convention, her humming performance was so well received by all of those in attendance that she was literally drenched in a shower of ongoing accolades for over an hour.
She was, in fact, awarded the coveted Pearl Necklace award for humming a record 10,000 time by Spitzer Swallows, editor of Hum World Magazine, and subsequently had a song named for her by the legendary band Z Z Top.
When interviewed about this convention, even two decades later, to this day she contends that she still gets choked up about it all and the attention she receives on a daily basis is still quite hard to swallow. She still greatly appreciates her fans and She has a web page dedicated to helping any who are in need, as she stated "I never bite off more than I can chew, and if I can at least give my fans a hand, I will". She even sponsors a hands-on hummer course online for humming enthusiasts with levels including: "Getting started, A quick start guide to humming", "Humming to get ahead", and the master course, "Hummers, and the puddles of fun that can come with them". For 69 dollars, there is even a seniors course: "Gumming and Humming, It's never too late".
Merchandise on her website includes and autographed Peg Bundy Hummer towel, among other valuable items.
