I was gonna reply to your post, but you're an hour ahead of me, so I haven't seen it yet.
And also Captain Beefheart as he didn't use notes or time signatures in the accepted meaning of the words. Damn, that's not disinformation, is it!
I’m not aware of any connections between the band and the long abandoned town of Creedence Clearwater. Apart from the name that is.
The only connection is that they were both SEVERELY over-rated....
