Not clear about the early years, but it is certainly the case now that Dave Grohl does not fight foo. And he has obviously not fought any foo since 2000. By comparison, Lemmy died while fighting foo.

Perhaps Marcel was moonlighting. Or is that daylighting for a mime?

I bought Marcel's single "The Sound of Silence" before Paul Simon spoiled it by writing a melody and lyrics - missing the point, IMO. Of course, mainstream stations and the ordinary record-buying public raved about the more commercial version. Typical. My concept album, "Dead Dolphins in Space" was also ignored by so-called 'music journalists'

I LOVE Mell Brooks' movies including this one. I almost wet myself watching this scene. The irony just blew me away.

Speaking of irony, some people feel this literary technique is too "heavy". There's a push to rename it "aluminumony".

I loved Dead Dolphins in Space. But the follow up album In Space Everyone Can Hear You Scream but They Don't Care was a a bit derivative.

B-Safe, every bassist knows, is the note you play if you lose your place during the song. It blends with any chord, or key. It does become monotonous, if played during the entire song, but it will get you through to the chorus!
