Let's spread some musical misinformation

The first electric guitar invented was a bass. It was after the inventor's wife accidentally ran the prototype through the washing machine that the inventor, at first horrified at how his prized instrument had shrunk, realised the potential of the smaller guitar and started to produce it in quantity. He also made sure that the contribution of his spouse to his commercial success was quietly forgotten.
That's why Gibson guitars are so expensive. 50% of the headstocks fall off in the shrinking procedure.

The washing machines on stage at Rush concerts were such that all those unused Geddy Lee signature basses could be shrunk into guitars for Alex Lifeson. He is so forgetful he would pretty much always leave his guitar in his hotel room after every gig so it was simply more cost effective to make new guitars for him in the road than have someone go back to get one. Obviously, the rotisseries were to make spare drumsticks for Neil. Eventually they did give up on the washing machines when they realised it was even more cost effective to have one roadie one 12 hours behind on the tour, collecting Alex's guitars. It was easily achieved by just setting their watch back a bit.

A G string.
I was going to post a picture of the best G string for metal, but I think it may have resulted in a nasty message from a mod.

Suffice it to say this guy knows.
