Let's spread some musical misinformation

When Led Zeppelin first appeared in the music world they tried to make everything fit their image. They even had all their instruments made of lead. The problem was no bass player in their right mind ever wanted to play a 72 pound bass! But who's to say if any bass player is ever really in their right mind!

This is why I named my band Helium Feathers.

The Kinks wanted to call themselves the "Colonel Klink's" but they didn't have enough space on the marquee at their first concert. then the guy who did the marquee lettering accidentally left out the letter "L" in the shortened name. ,,,, the band had to live with the error in their name from then on.

In some cultures it is considered bad manners to use an EQ pedal.
If only IQ pedals were available to those people.
Bass is all about feel. Intelligence quotient and emotional quotient mean nothing for a bass player. It is all about the groove quotient. There is even a magazine dedicated to it - GQ

Also, Robert Plant gained 400 pounds in an attempt to resemble a zeppelin. Amazingly, after they abandoned the "literal" approach, he was able to lose the 400 pounds before their first photo shoot.

The first electric guitar invented was a bass. It was after the inventor's wife accidentally ran the prototype through the washing machine that the inventor, at first horrified at how his prized instrument had shrunk, realised the potential of the smaller guitar and started to produce it in quantity. He also made sure that the contribution of his spouse to his commercial success was quietly forgotten.
