Let's spread some musical misinformation

The Beatles were originally called The Silver. In the Mersey Grand Battle of the Bands in 1959, they beat Keith Allen (then aged 6) and performing as Chubby Les (Fat Les came later) as a cutesy Chubby Checker tribute act. The headlines exclaimed 'The Silver Beatles' due to a typo and a new band name was launched.

Keith, and his progeny, have vowed to bring the Fab Four low ever since. His daughter was pushed into the pop industry in the hope she would become more successful and more popular than John Lennon and Jesus combined.

Managers and Agents truly care more about your music and you personally than getting filthy rich.
Deep down , ALL women really prefer to listen to prog metal ( and the more nasty and complicated the better ) than showing off their clothes and hair-do's dancing to ABBA in public with their friends.
Roadies are only concerned about the show and don't really care about getting shitfaced and trying to hook up at bar gigs.
Lead Guitarists don't care about their volume or their sound as long as the bass is heard clearly.
All Lead singers are really the brains of any band
(and to think that they have an ego like a T-Rex is to tragically misunderstand them )
Of course there's always a chance I could be wrong about some of these...

Bono wrote 'Where the streets have no name' when he went on a sunday drive to a brand new housing subdivision being built.... where the new streets literally had no names yet

It was one in France, about the time Bonnie Tyler wrote her early hit. There are at least three pop stars we've never heard of who never got out and thus we've never heard of. Or they might be famous in France, which would also explain why no one has heard of them.

I'm not famous for my singing anywhere, not even in France. But I'm sure the occasional insect buzzing round my bedroom enjoys it, and the neighbours aren't complaining too much ... yet.
Actually, that isn't misinformation :crying:

At last, a use for Camembert!
He was a great reporter and anchor!

The first bass guitar was actually invented by Paul McCartney in 1958 when he accidentally restrung his Hofner Violin guitar with gutwound upright bass strings instead of regular guitar strings. In 1966, when he finally realized what had happened, he was so embarrassed that he quit the Beatles. That's why they cloned him
And that is why the correct way to play bass is "left-handed". "Right-handed" basses are sold at a discount as they are not authentic.

Keith Allen released a 12" single under the name "Sex Boots Dread" reggae, and him 'singing' about homosexuality in a fake Jamaican accent, The B-side featured graphic lyrics depicting homosexual acts.
Definitely NSFW.
