Let's spread some musical misinformation

The next big 'new' style of music, after Garage and House, is going to be Woodshed.

The style consists of playing the same short progression incorrectly until you get it right, then leaving it and going on to destroy another short sequence. Its popularity derives from the short attention span of modern Young People.

You're confusing Woodshed with Philip Glass.

Leo Fender actually named the Precision Bass after his newborn grandniece, little Precision O'Hara.

That was in honor of his automotive hero Mr. Benz naming Mercedes. Leo loved cars, hence all that chromed hardware and automotive paint. He'd have used Mercedes paint on his guitars had Hofner and Framus not already purchased it.

Just be glad he didn't prefer boats as Precisions would only have been available in navy blue and battleship grey and have a porthole.

And there's a .00001% chance of a matter-antimatter collision, which would NOT be good.

DON'T CROSS THE STREAMS!!!!

I lied - there would have been a grey blueburst option too.
