They do look like giant tortillas, so an easy mistake to make.

Everyone knows the Police started out as a punk band but quickly changed styles as they found they were no good at punk; however, not many know that "Every Breath You Take" started out as a fast punk song complaining about the local hippies, called "Every Bath You Don't Take".
It's true. Punks didn't care for hippies.

Originally the Police were called "Emergency Services" with Stewart Copeland taking on the Ambulance role, Andy Summers taking on the Fire Dept role and Sting taking on the Police role... but as Sting began to dominate the band he changed the bands name

Not true - the Police were originally a tribute band to Village People. The name came from the uniform.
