I like .90s or .85s, action so low they're laying on the frets, buzz rattle clank, yum. Takes a good bass/tricky setup though to be able to have even buzz across all strings and frets, most have a flaw somewhere that prevents this.

light string guage user

I do have the lighter guage circle K strings on my fretted bass, I love those strings, just not on my fretless.
I don't find heavier strings easier to play. Just the opposite. I go 40-95 on everything, with a 120 B on my 5. I've done even lighter, and I might try it again when I run out of XL's in that gauge, but this seems to work best for me.
