For comparison, the WD-800 at 800 watts has much more headroom than the Walkabout.I already have an extensive pedal board but I am open to ideas.
As for power, the WA is 300 watts MOSFET, I suppose in Class D I’d need more for the same amount of headroom.
You mentioned you have an extensive pedal board - if you have something like the Empress Para EQ it can help but nothing is going to sound closer to a Walkabout than the WD-800The d-Series does not sound like the Walkabout or WD800 at all.

well, the OP is in Europe and I'm guessing the used Walkabout market over there is probably limited compared to the statesWhy not a used walkabout head? Many are like under 500 now
