Light weight cabinet build

I dig it! Any reason you didn't paint the baffle black?
Black baffles are sort of the norm. I've owned a Sunn 215BH cabinet since 1978 that has JBL's and a white baffle. I liked the look of it. Not sure it translated with the grill frame in this cabinet, but I can change it to black in the future if it bothers me enough. Might look more balanced with black. Visually, I think it needs the upper mid driver in the upper right corner. But, I want to think that through a little more. Would it add to the sound? The K140 does have a really good tone. No damping material has been added and I'm still critically listening to it.

I'll try to get a sound clip posted in the next couple days.

I like seeing that aluminum dust cap!

I had a Sunn 215b with the square back 15”. Was a really good sounding box that I gigged for years with a GK400rb. GREAT mids.

41, does the BH have JBLs? A pal of mine in the 90’s had one and the dust caps had a different shape than the D140s I used later

It had K140's in it when gigging. It was loud. I ran it with a Sunn Coliseum head and sometimes paired with a Sunn 415LH cabinet. Overkill for pretty much any venue. Overall the cabinet sounded good, but seemed tuned a bit high, resonating on a G note on the E string then dropping slightly to E. Right now it has some JBL 2225's and was last used for bottom end. I have some K130's that I wanted to use crossed over at 500 hz, but never got to it. It has an extension cabinet with some 6" drivers crossed at 800 hz now. Too much gear! The 2225's should come out. They're just not the right driver for the 215BH. Its a heavy cabinet, so is mostly just a practice cabinet now. It doesn't get moved. Its in really good condition, no rips or chips out of it. I feel like I'm running an antique shop sometimes. My son-in-law has it in his band's practice room, so it gets used.
