Light weight low end

Yes, that PS410 weighs in at about 80 pounds. I'm 63 with arthritis in my back and lifting this cab is not bad. As far as moving it, I've got an aluminum folding dolly that works great. 56 pounds is about half what most regular 410s weigh. Also, most of the 112 cabs out there weigh around 30 pounds. For the small difference in weight, you get a whole lot more bottom end out of the 410. Of course, this is just my opinion. Hope you find what you want.

You should check the 12" 3rd Generation cabs. The BB2 is worth throwing in this discussion. It's a single woofer, and I assume the dual woofer cabs will be more of the same goodness.

The 10" cabs sound good, but they roll off a bit higher. Still lovely though.

These GR Bass 112 Cubes Romped pretty hard on an outside stage last night.
Handling is marked 450 watts each. PF-800 and it's owner were happy.

I would say the [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] cab by DNA. It's certainly lighter than any of the Eden 210 cabs that David designed (all of them), but it's not a super-light cab. However, it is super versatile. It handles 700-watts rms and the max SPL is 134db (beyond the threshold of pain). Yeah, it's crazy loud. The sound is clean, warm, extremely clear, and articulate with a very tight and low (34Hz) bottom end.

I bought mine in 2019 when I joined the DNA Endorsing Artist group. I had purchased a DNS-410 cab back in 2015 and thought I would never need to buy another cab, because it does it all, indoors, outdoors, and festivals. However, I found out that wheeling in my DNS-410 cab scared owners of small venues and they would typically make me use some small combo they had as a backline. So I bought this because it has the same sonic qualities that my DNS-410 does and it's small enough that it doesn't scare anybody when I bring it in. I drive it with my 800-watt WT500/800 amp. Good news is that I use it for ALL my indoor venues now and reserve my DNS410 for outdoors and festivals.

So, at 52-lbs it's going to be heavier than some other 210's you'll find, but indoors, you can use it in places that would otherwise require a 410 for adequate coverage. It's just an amazing cab! Street price runs from about $849 to $969.

All of the Revsound cabs are typically lighter than their competitors . I have a 31 lb 2-10 and a 27 lb 1-15 with a tweeter. They are both very full sounding and articulate without being muddy. Both work great with both 4 string Fender and my Stingray 5. Give Dave at Revsound a call, he will recommend the right cab for your need and budget.

Lighter weight (yet potent) for me came down to getting something easier to cart around compared with my old 4x10. I got into using a pair of 2x10's in a vertical stack and need nothing more than a GK MB 500 to make as much sound as I can use. Two cabs only means that I'm making one more trip the the car to load in/out, but I can manage them myself no problemo. And if I want to use a smaller rig, I can just use one cab.

I generally appreciate what I've gotten with 10" speakers, but I know that others can put out terrific sound, too. But once I started using my GK head, I found more tightness and clarity in my sound than I had with my older "conventional" head, which was also rated at higher power (800 watts). So at least some of the bigger and tighter sound I'm enjoying now seems to be from my head, not just my cabs.

I think that if I had to lighten up even more in terms of my cabs, I'd make an effort to try a Genzler Array. But there seems to be a candy store of better-than-average options out there now that are lighter than the older boxes of yesteryear.

Oops - my cabs are an Acme Low B2 and an SWR Goliath Jr. Yes they're different, but they do share the same resistance and power ratings and they've worked together just fine for several gigs.

I too would have probably said, "Mesa, Genzler, Bareface or Revsound"
But for now I'm gonna hold my vote till G.K.'s recent Neo cabinets have hit the streets for awhile.
I want to see/and hear what Bob G's new cabinets can do, they certainly look impressive!

Not to mention these things can be found for CHEAP! Everytime i think i wanna go to something smaller or lighter, I pick it up and put it on its cart, plug it in and go...nah.
