The .2 line is still very new, so not too many people have used them yet. I'd get it over the 6.0/9.0 personally. I've been looking for a 9.2 for a little while now.

Genz-Benz Streamliner 600 head. Small, powerful, has tubes, great tone. Ed Friedland has a great demo of the 900 up on youtube.

As far as cabs, if 70 pounds seems like a lot then forget about 4x10 cabs. My 410 weighs 74 pounds and it's a pretty lightweight one. Try a 2x12 instead. I have a GK neo one, 50 pounds, sounds great. There are others.

Too true. I'd kill for a pair of fEARful 15/6 or even just a 212/6.
I do love how simple the terror bass 1000 is, I dont think the sp410 matches up to it though and if i was getting the obc410 id get a ad200b with it.
The genz benz uber 410 and the aguilar sl410 both seem to be fantastic, lightweight 4x10 cabs.
The DNA DNS-410 is a beast but just a little dull looking for me. I want something funky looking like the orange or aguilar range.

The Genz Benz Focus line 4x10 is 64lbs using ceramic drivers and a bit easier on the wallet.
I just played the SWR Golight 4x10 it was the marcus cab and it was only 55lbs.
Unless you can narrow down what youre looking for in a hybrid bass rig by features, power, coverage, size, weight, sound, budget, etc I think the best people can do is just guess or post all the different hybrid amp/cabs until youre back to were you started.
Dull Looking?? Not sure I get that comment... but it sure is not dull when you are playing through it.
I guess you could funk it up with some paint, or dress it up. Look at what Tim Commerford, the RATM bass player, does with his Ampeg rig.

Ok will do, this would be what im looking for:
Lightweight amp with a tube preamp, class D power amp and great tone.
4x10 neo speaker cab
Features: Minimum, I like amps that dont have a tonne of knobs and switches, keep the signal path short
Power: Anywhere from 500 watts to 1000watts
Size: I really want a 4x10 cab that'll bring the size up but the smaller the better.
Weight: I'd like to get something light and portable, I'll probably put the 4x10 on casters but something i can lift up a few steps on my own ideally.
Sound: I generally like a nice flat finger style sound. I do use fuzz sometimes though.
Budget: 2500/$3000 max, preferably less. I'm looking for a setup to keep for a long time.
I dont know what you mean by coverage.
No offense taken. I just think focusing on looks, especially with a cab, is a slippery slope. I'd focus on sound if I were you.

I am looking at the Genz Benz Streamliner 900 to run it, right now myself. From what I've noticed when I've played the amp, it has super simple controls & a great voicing. But, it does have a voicing. Not super flat. That's what the Shuttle series is for. The Orange amp, to my ear, definitely doesn't have a flat sound, either. So, if you like the sound of that, give the streamliner a whirl. I want to pair it with my MM cab because that cab is strong in the mids & every mid strong cab I've played with the Streamliner sounds great to me.
FWIW, I have been powering the cab with an EA iamp 800. Great amp. With this cab, however, at a volume of five, I run the amp into shutdown. The guys over at EA said that I was just plain working the amp too hard.
So, while not the most efficient cab in the world, my SWR is light, powerful, cuts through a mix & is a great all around stand alone cab.
Throw a Streamliner900 on top & there's gobs of power on tap, a nice "tubey" tone all at a weight of right around 60lbs. amp & cab total.

Hello Music was blowing out the GB 9.0 yesterday for $495. I was so close, even though I need another amp like a hole in the head.
