Also following. One of my biggest issues is there is no level metering, input or output, so the volume of different patches is widely variable. I’ve been running it into my DAW with a pre-fader meter going so I have some reference. Doing this I’m finding that I have to master volume of the Pod Go at only about 50%, otherwise I’m overdriving the preamp on my interface. Anyone running that master volume wide open and not having it overdrive whatever is downstream of the output?

Looks like you have a Sadowsky in your pic. Do you have it sounding good through the POD Go? Even the SVT?

We need to get this thread going.
After taking a detour to build out a ‘proper’ pedal board, that last few days I’ve been practicing and working using just my PodGo into a combo amp (Rumble 40).
Ummmm THIS THING IS AWESOME. Seriously I can get so many superb sounds with minimal effort from my PodGo. Like as in I would be wise to sell off my pedalboard as I work to simplify my setup. It’s so good!

But ampg pack irs...dude, the CUT 2x10 with dynamic mic, its amazing!

I actually found that the stock cabs sound much better when you boost their volume something like +3db, at least to me

Gonna try that! Never thought volume could change the tone of the IR.

I really recommend trying that, please share your thoughts after you have tried it
TBH i was a bit surprised myself too when I first read that boosting volume on the stock cabs and maybe moving the "mic" a bit farther makes stock cabs sound better..but it really did at least for me

I myself use either the mesa 6x10 or ampeg 8x10 stock cabs for bass with sm7 mic with distanche at 1.5 feet(ish) and that early reflection slider at 10% position and volime boosted 3 or 3.5db for bass stuff.
And for guitar stuff I mostly use greenback25 or mesa vintage30 stock cabs with sm57 or ribbon160 mic at 2 feet distance and early reflection slider at 15-25% position with volume boosted that +3db

I tried a whole bunch of IRs including some downloaded packs but prefer bypassing them and just using the GK head direct for live situations. I just found the IRs quite boomy. Anyone else do the same?

Mine (Pod go wireless) arrives mid week.
Not finding tons of support on the interwebs for the Pod go so I'm coming here to my friends at Talkbass.
I see that this thread needs some TLC. I've read all the pros and cons about the unit (the biggest being you can't run parallel efx) and although I agree I'm gonna try and find a workaround.
Anyway, I've owned a few efx units, rack mount and floor models and always got frustrated with them and all the time spent programming or the fact that I had a butt load of slots and only used like 3.... Ever.... . I'm older now and have slightly more patience for these things. I'll probably still only use 3 or 4 presets that I'll build.
Anyway, how are we sharing our presets here?

My pod go to arrived yesterday. Spent a couple of hours just scrolling through. I think it's going to replace my pedalboard completely. Would love to see some of you fellow TBrs snapshots and settings. How are we sharing?

Side note. For some reason pictures rarely show up in posts here for me. Usually have to scroll down and find attachment link in a reply. Anyone else have this issue or a fix?

Hey all, this is a user preset that frees up 2 more FX pedal spaces by deleting the effects loop and the wah pedal (vol pedal is still in place) JUST FOR THIS PRESET. It will not mess with your Global settings. Only affects this one user preset (no harm will come to your setup). You can also just use this and put in your own amp and effects to make it your own with the 2 extra pedal spots.... Just drag and drop to one of your open user presets. This also has my current go-to user preset pedals, amp and cab in place for bass (studio tube pre, cali 6x10 cab, chorus, compressor, etc). LMK what you think!
