Line 6

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has played or has the Line 6 LowDown 110 Studio. I want this amp as an amp that I can take to practice with my band (we don't practice extremely loud). Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!:help:

I owned one for a few weeks, then got rid of it. It's loud *for a 1x10 combo*, but not loud enough to keep up with drums, or a 15 watt 1x12 guitar amp. But, I thought it sounded like poo, and hence, got rid of it. Imo, you'd be much better served with an Ampeg BA112.

I have a Fender Rumble now and I hate it! It weighs a ton, sounds like crap, and can BARELY keep up with our drummer. The Line 6 being 15 more watts made me think that it might actually put out more sound. I still will play it at a music store to test it out. Thanks!

I had a Line 6 LD150 and it suited me well for practice and for a couple of small gigs. I actually miss the built-in effects (I could dial in almost perfectly the sound for Gold Guns Girls by Metric) and the built in tuner (which worked just as well as the in-line marshall tuner the lead singer / rhythm guitard used)

I sold it for what I paid for it, only because I found a Firebass 700 and wanted it for larger venues and didn't want to lug my BXR 400 with 4-10 1-15 cabs. Thinking back I should have kept it and just found a corner to keep the Firebass.

I've got one, been playing it for 5 years, it won't keep up with a drummer in a live situation, but for practice (Latin Jazz combo) it is fine and a one hand carry. It has a great DI output, which I put through the PA, and it is great when used this way.

For acoustic practices (I also am in a Western Cowboy band) it is wonderful, in fact too loud

I also have a SWR baby blue (first version) that is now relegated to live only use, wonderful amp, but heavy (the LDS long throw 8" woofers added 10 lbs to a 50 lb rig). I fool alot of people with that rig, it looks so small, but sounds like a 2 x 10 combo
