Line Level Parametric EQ without color

I need help from some of you audio pros. I'm pretty familiar with the bass gear but this time my rig has evolved into territory where I'm unfamiliar.

I use QSC KW152 powered speakers. I have a Sonic Farm 2DI4 on the way and since I rarely use EQ my amp will be the 2DI4 line level output to my speakers and mic level output to the board. I would like to incorporate a small (1/2 rack or 500 series) parametric EQ between the DI and my speakers for the situations where bad stages or rooms require adjustments. I'm not enthusiastic about spending a ton of cash for situational gear but I'm also not willing to use something that introduces noise or messes with my tone. Which EQs should I be looking at?

Is a pedal okay? I have a WMD that is touchy but it is quiet and transparent. I have also heard good things about the Empress pedal.
I need it to be line level (balanced) behind my DI, that way if there has to be some dramatic cutting for the stage sound I don't also mess up the signal to the board. Otherwise the Empress pedal would be great.

The A Design EQ would be amazing Jimmy but $2k plus for room correction seems a bit extreme. Plus those have a very colored tone don't they? I'm looking for more of a utility EQ for fixing stuff.

I don't know about that. Pultec EQ's are pretty legendary standard issue studio equipment, so I can't imagine they go too far afield unless you dial them to do so. But yeah, definitely overkill...for my purposes too. Mark Robertson from the Legendary Shack Shakers was recommending the Empress ParaEQ to me a few nights ago...haven't got it or anything yet but I'm also sort of in the market so I'll be watching this thread.
