Me, too. A side jack is not a complete deal breaker for me, but if I have my way, every guitar or bass would have a front jack.

What is a deal breaker is one of those weird side angled jacks like Ibanez just loves to put on their basses. I dislike Strat jacks enough, but at least it's OK when it's in the front. With all the right angled cables I have, I just have no time for the one guitar or bass that just decides to have a fancy recessed jack.
