Most bass cabinets available are really designed for bass guitar and are voiced accordingly (they are anything but flat).

Also there is a price to be paid for ruler flat response to around 40 Hz: Either exceptionally low efficiency or very large and heavy. There's really no way around this. I have owned cabinets that were truly flat and very full range, however I did not find them to be very practical in actual use.

I am currently using Euphonic Audio cabinets, and I think they have the right idea. If you ever get a chance to try a classic EA VL-208, I think you might like it. Comes very close to your ideal speaker cabinet description.

Yep, it's the old laws of physics. You can have only two of the following three simultaneously:

1) Extended low-frequency response
2) High efficiency
3) Small cabinet size

With these for criteria there is a lot to choose from. Euphonic Audio takes the cake in all four categories with the
Wizzy 10, Wizzy 12, and the Wizzy 12 M Line. EA has dealers outside the U.S.. Bergantino makes a great cabinet, but I don't think that you would be able to try them out in Hungary.

Bob Gollihur at Gollihur Music is a EA dealer and ships overseas, but I have no idea what the chages are.

Unfortunately, that's all the dealers for EA and Bergantino there are at the moment.

Yes, Epifani and Aguilar has nice dealers in Budapest, with good prices. Maybe Accugroove is olso works, with a little more management from Frankfurt where I have friends. But very complicated and pricey to get EA or Bergantino here.
