List the amps you've gigged with

I can't remember model names for the most part but there's been a bunch of SVT's , some v-4's, v-4b, 3pros,CL's , B-15's.
Peaveys, Fenders, Sunn's, Sound City,Eden's,Silvertone's
,360's,370's and 270's,150's Acoustics, Trace Elliot's,Marshall Bass 100's,Kustom,Orange,SWR, GK.

You know, It starts with SVT's and ends with SVT's. My favorite of the bunch I guess,with the 370 a close second.

This doesn't date back as far as some of you, but I'll give it a shot.

First gig rig was a behringer head, with two random cabs (2x10, 1x15) then a matching behringer 4x10

carvin pre/crown power rack with an SWR big bertha, later switched the carvin for an SVP-Pro

moved to an ampeg svt-cl/610HLF as my main rig, alternating randomly with a bassman 70, swr henry 8x8, musicman HD130, and ampeg B40 4x10 depending on the size of the gig.

moved onto an ampeg V4 with the B40 and a B15 for smaller gigs.

down to just the V4/B40 now.

My heavy gigging days were between 1986 and 1992. The vast majority of those gigs were on a GK 400RB and various cabs, but among them a Fender BXR Spectrum, (2x10 & 18). Also, for a short time, I used a Crate 1x15 combo with a 115 ext spkr. Believe it or not, it was a very worthy rig for it's day. Of course now, when my gigs are few and far between, I have the nicest and most gear of my life. Ironic.

Fender Bassman (pre-CBS blackface 50W) -> a custom cab with 2 JBL D140F;
Nemesis NC210P combo;
Nemesis NC210P combo + Tube Works 210 combo (I think it was a 7200 model -- only one gig);
Demeter VTBP-201S -> QSC PLX1602 -> Bergantino HT322;
Demeter VTBP-201S -> QSC PLX1602 -> Schroeder 410;
G-K 1001RB-II -> G-K 410RBH + 115RBH (only one gig);
Demeter HBP-1 -> Stewart World 2.1 -> Schroeder 410 (only one gig);
EA iAmp-600 -> EA CX-310 (still have);
Yamaha PB-1 -> Yamaha CP2000 -> EA CX-310 (still have).

1st gig for $ I used a Peavey Reknown driving a 2X18 cab
Some kind of Traynor
Acoustic 3XX (don't remember which, but I wish I still had it)
SWR 220
Trace Elliot (something or another)
SVT
Others I don't remember, but the SVT, Traynor and Acoustic had tone for days
Current in pres into power amps but I haven't gigged in years
Not a long list of amps, nowhere near as many as basses I've had.

I have not thought about this in a long time but here goes:

White Fender Bassman (early 60's) with DIY 1x15
Guild Quantum Bass Amp and 2x15 cab
Early 70's Ampeg SVT (made in Linden, NJ) w/old flat back SVT 8x10 cab
Acoustic 370 w/SVT 8x10 cab
Early 70's Ampeg V4B w/SVT 8x10
Added Hartke 4.5XL, 2.5XL, and 115XL
SWR 350X w/the various Hartke cabs
Added EA Wizzy 1x12
then EA Wizzy M-Line 1x12
EA Iamp800
added 2 EA NL-210's

I mostly use the Iamp800 w/the 2 Wizzy cabs today.

I just realized I have to much stuff thats not being used. If anyone is interested in the NL-210's or the Hartke stuff let me know.

Now, after lugging all that gear for all these years,..it's no WONDER I'm tired!!

Had a nice Fender Bassman 100 in the 70s and 80s....Now using Carvins. Tried a Crate,but I didn't care for the sound.Would like to try an Ampeg,but haven't had a chance.(Guess I've been pretty limited!)
Kent:bassist:

Bass amps (the one's I remember):

Ampeg B-15
Traynor YBA-1 Bassmaster
Traynor YBA1-A Mark II
Traynor YBA-3 Custom Special
Traynor YBA-3A Super CUstom Special
Ampeg SVT
Sunn Concert
Hartke 3500
Trace Elliot (I forget the model but it had a 12 band graphic)
GK 200MP
AMP BH-420
AMP BH-260
Eden WT-300

On guitar it's only one, a blackface '63 Fender Deluxe Reverb.

Carvin R1000, Ampeg B4R, Trace Elliot V6, Genz Benz GBE1200, Mesa Bass 400+, Hughes and Kettner BassBase 400 combo, Trace V-Type combo, Fender Bassman combo, Nemesis NA-650.

I think that's most of 'em. Lost track of all the cab configs I've used...

I guess gigging implies someone is listening to the playing, so that kind of narrows it down a bit ;)

Mid 80s I started off with a 100 watt tube Marshall head and a 2x15 cab. I never really got it to work for me, but became very fit hauling it around for gigs...

Next, late 80s/early 90s was a Trace Elliot 150 w combo with 4 10s. Yup, that one. It was actually a pretty good amp.

Late 90s; Peavey T-Max with initially one 410TX, then an additional 410TVX. Pretty decent amp the T-Max, insanely loud rig w. 2 4x10s!

Mid 00s: Eden WT400 with Epi T310UL. Liked the cab, the amp didn't cut it 100%. Nice, warm tone, but not enough juice for what I needed. Got an Epi UL502 for the same 3x10 cab a couple of years ago, and have used it for everything since.

There's no way I could remember all of them.

That said the ones I do remember:

Ampeg SVT 400T
Ampeg SVP Pro -> Yamaha P3500 power amp
Fender Bassman 100
Ampeg SVT (1970's)
Peavey Bam - Current gigging combo

Ones I don't remember:
Randall (venue backline)
Trace Elliot (venue backline)
Ampeg SVT (venue backline)
Whatever the rental companies had available

These are the ones I remember:

Kalamazoo Bass 50 (my first amp)
Fender Bassman (purchased new in 1967)
Standell Super Artist (or something like that, 2 15" JBL's)
Sunn 200S with 2x15 cab
Ampeg B-15's (at least six over the years)
Ampeg SVT with 8x10 cab
Ampeg SVT II-Pro with various Ampeg 4x10 cabs
Musicman something or other
Walter Woods Ultra
Walter Woods stereo
various power amp/preamp combinations, at least a dozen
Roland bass cube
AER Amp one
Gallien-Kruegers: 800RB, 1001-RB, MB 112 (small 1x12 combo)

Overall, my favorite is the B-15 and is virtually the only thing I play through these days (with PA support). I play a vintage 62 Jazz through it, and yes, it IS the Voice of God...
