1. Fender bassman 25 combo - I still have it, I keep it in my locker at work to practice with.
2. TC Electronic BH800 - Still have it. My main amp.
3. Tech21 Sansamp Bass Driver DI V2 (does this count? lol) This is what I take to practice when I'm being lazy.

Hmm...

First was a Fender BXR15 I got in high school. Second was a Crate 200W full stack (two 4x10 cabs) that was a graduation gift. Third was an Eden WT-300 head, an Ampeg 4x10, and an Ampeg 1x15 that I got when I started playing live. After that was a long series of stacks and combos. Current rig is a GK MB212-II.

1. Some 2x12 guitar amp by Sears from the 60s - played for a few months until it died.
2. 1966 Super Reverb (gave that to my guitarist brother) - had this for a few weeks.
3. 400RB with 2 15" Mesa/Boogie "Diesel" cabs with the "400 watt" EV. Kept that for a few years until I got my SWR rig. Hell, would happily gig that rig today if I still had it.

Oliver B120 single 15" probably 40 watts, tube.

LabSeries L10 4 x 10" speakers 100 watts solid state, with a useful compressor built in to amp.

Acoustic 360/370 4 knobs and a 5 band EQ run into an Ampeg folded horn with 2 x 15" Electro Voice speakers.

Still have all of them but play through a different rig.

Ampslut you sure about 6 x 10"s and only 25 watts? Friend of mine had a Silvertone it had a quartet of power tubes and was equal to my Twin?

#1 Was a VOX AC50 with the Foundation 18” speaker cabinet. The cabinet had no handles which I added as it was a bear to try and carry. The sound was mud for days so I rebuilt the pre-amp to get more treble through.

#2 was an Epiphone Constellation that had a new Wharfdale 15” driver installed. This sounded much better.

#3 Was a Blonde blackface Fender Bassman with it’s matching twin 12” speaker cabinet. This was such a disaster that I returned it after a weekend of gigs. They had sold the Constellation in the mean time so I just left the amp there. I still shudder from the trauma! :(

#4 Now not having an amp I pressed a Leak TL50+ power amp into service and built a simple one tube pre-amp that drove the power amp and also got it’s power from it. The set up sounded really great with a 4x12 Marshall speaker cabinet.

1. Traynor Bassmate Combo amp. They were a low wattage, 1x15 all tube affair.
2. Fender Silver face Champ. Hey, I played guitar on the side too, and still do.
3. My first big amp rig for bass, was a Sunn Model T head with a matching Sunn 2x15 cab.

1)Parents bought : 1969 Penncrest (JC Penney w/ 1-5”)
Finally Died in 71
2) Patents bought Kustom 200-B w/ CTS ( I didn’t know better) But I still own it! Took me to “ the dance”
3) With min wage job I bought 1974 Acoustic 370 .... “Took me to the Ball”
Still own it... never let me down .

Ok to be more succinct to thread title....I bought the 74 Acoustic and in 2008-9 I bought first gen GC Acoustic B200 combo And B200 Head / 1-15 cab.
Still serve me well when required .

In 76 I bought used (2) Sunn- 2x15 magnas and sold em
Late 79 I bought used Sunn 1-18 VH match made in heaven for my 370; pure ear candy!
{2017 I bought Berg forte’/ 1-12 neo which my lower back and hernia repair Love!}

1) Generic "RMS" bass amp
2) 90W Behringer
3) Hartke 410XL cab with Fender BXR200 head.

I'm now a GK user, only relying on a single MB210-II for the past three or so years. It's done me well.

1st amp was a Crate combo with maybe 30 watts. Second was a Seymour Duncan bass 400 or something like that with an Acoustic cab with a reverse mounted 18”. I should have hung onto the Seymour Duncan Head in retrospect, but The Hartke 3500 series was all over the bass and guitar magazines and i wanted one real bad. Number three was the Hartke 3500 series with the Tube and Solid state pre-amps, which i think was a new concept at the time.

Of the three i wish i still had the Seymour Duncan I think because it was uncommon and i haven’t seen one in 20 years.
