live rig. 8x10 vs two 4x10s

i've been thinking about putting together a big ampeg rig. I've been using an ampeg svt 4 pro and a pr 410hlf. I thought about buying another 410hlf cab, but i've also been considering an 810E cab. Size/weight isn't an issue. Anybody owned or used both 2 410s and an 810?


When i say big rig, I mean these cabs will only be the tops. I'm trying to swing a deal on two SVT 18 cabs for subs.

This "Live Sound" sub-section is geared more towards PA systems. You'll probably find you get a much better response posting any bass guitar cab questions in the Amps section. (that sections title really should be worded "Amps and cabs"...)
