It sounds like those "gangsta" kids started it with their stereo. I love to hear the stories of someone teaching respect, even little cases like this. Amen man. Do be careful though, you never know what kids are capable of today and I would hate to hear of something happening because of some stupid s*** like this. I would recommend headphones, but for different reasons then others here. Just be safe, it isn’t worth it in this day an age.

Don't worry -the police will probably do that for them the next time (and every time) you jam outside from here on out. Really not cool to start this kind of aggravation war with your neighbors - no one wins.

No, because he said that they "blast" rap from their stereo. I also want to clarify that my gangstas term is in no way meant to offend. I merely made an assumption based on the stated age and musical tastes of the neighbor kids who were complaining. If a loud stereo was all it took to be gangsta, I think allot of us would be drowning in more street cred than P Diddy (or whatever hes calling himself now).
Also, I think we're all missing the fact that the complainers are two 16 year old kids. I'm sure they're not going to call the cops. I know when I was 16 I didn't want to have anything to do with the cops. I think we can cut Anchor some slack in this case. Sounds more like, and no offense Anchor (I'm not sure your age), a high school feud. Like I said, just be careful. It's not worth pissing some crazy kid off for a noise deal.

Happened with my sister the one time. My 25W fender practice amp is at 2 so no real noise going on. She comes into my room and tells me to turn it down. I was just about finished anyway so okay, I'll just go to bed, it was a long day anyway. An hour later she wakes me up when her friends arrive and she starts blaring that evil rap music. I felt it was time for practicing again.
Her computer speakers vs. my amp.

Geeze, guys it's not like he's 38 and did all this....the other kids started it and he's just sticking up for himself. I personally find it hilarious, people rarely like a taste of their own medicine and that's what those kids next door got a (generous) helping of lol
