Logos & Brand Names you hate or love

I don't like the bass with the ass on the logo. Very tacky, IMO.

I cant stand any fender. Especially the "signature" ones that have different pick guards and knobs but cost twice as much as a standard.

MusicMan's kinda bother me as well....lotsa money for a stale looker.

I think Gaileen Kruger are the most sterile sounding amps ever.

The shape of the Dean headstock.....irks me.

Anything with the name warwick will hold a place in my heart

Fender is my all-time favorite. Been my fave since I started playing guitar 10 yrs before I ever picked up the bass. I like Gibson, Ric.

Hate LTD, ESP, Ibanez. I like the old Ibanez logo, like the one on their 70's repos.

They both sound like budget lines, but are both very expensive and high end.

I dislike SX. It's like a failed attempt at a Roman numeral. Of course, for all I know, S is the Roman numeral for 1,000,000. Maybe they should rename the bass 1,000,010.

The age old stalwarts, Gibson, Fender, etc., are not gaining much fan base these day's as we watch prices rise and the chances of getting what we want/dream of greatly slim down, all the while foreign made products with new/strange/hated names are taking their places.
Nothing really new there...

I'd love to get another Strat like my old custom Fender '99 MIM, but a new Squier CV 50s will do just fine, and the Brice 405 fretless really has me jonesing. Both new for $300 (or less) ea.
I don't even consider name brands or vintage any more, and MIA has lost a lot of appeal. But I'll always be open to surprises.
Having been an 'odd brand' fan forever, it's easier for me to seperate from the classics.

I used to not be too big on Music Mans. But the I fell in love with my OLP.

I like most anything. The 70's BIG style fender headstock is kinda lame looking IMHO, but, hey, if it has a decent neck, good bridge, and plays good I like it.

I love Alembic and Warwick. Not a big fan of the MTD logo/headstock. Not a big fan of the Rockbass name. Sounds like the name of something sold at a Zellers or Walmart. Nor do I like the Zon headstock

I love everything there is to love about the Fender P-bass. Especially the really old ones. I think old Trace Elliot was both the tackiest and amazing bass amp company ever. I think Ritters are the ugliest basses of all time. Dr. Bass sounds cheap, and I love the look of Aguilar products, but the AG500 could be the worst sounding bass amplifier I've ever had the pleasure of playing.

Jackson is one of those companies where, if looks were everything, I'd buy every Jackson guitar I've seen.

There's something about a white Jackson logo on a green headstock that fills me with joy...

I think the original Charvel logo in the guitar shape is the coolest (but I also play guitar).

The worst is Warwick Vampyre.....***? Any body shape that looks like it could be some kind of sword/blade has got to go.

squier.i like their higher quality basses,like the vintage modified,and the classic vibe series.but the name just gives them a bad wrap.so most people automatically assume they are crap just cause it says "squier".

I think some people have poor reading comprehension, its not whether or not you like the actual product, just what logos and brand names you don't like.
