You HAD a really cool old Hohner you scored for $50. Now, you HAVE a POS that isn't worth $20.

How did you come to that conclusion!? Is $30 the going rate for a Hohner decal? I didnt realise Hohner decals held special powers that when removed turns the bass into a "POS", I'm going to track down a 10 pack and cover my bass in them to achieve the special powers . Hopefully the OP will learn from his mistake that he has defaced a national treasure !

It's a good buy, I hope it plays well.

However, the "joke" of the decal is only half-baked (Stratocas...) and DEFINITELY won't play wel in THIS room.

For $15 bucks or so, I'd have gone all the way and done something special like this:
