looking for a new amp

I'm looking to get a new amp, either a markbass little markII or a GK 1001RB. I currently only play at church on sunday, but would like to be able to use the amp for small clubs if need be. I'll probably get a 210 or 212 avatar cab. I'm leaning towrds the markbass. Would it be powerful enough for small to medium sized clubs and outdoor gigs?

MarkBass LM II....500 watts at 4 ohms.
G.K. 1001....700 watts at 4 ohms.
My personal amp is a G.K. 800 head, (300 watts into 4 ohms.)
I used to drive a 4 ohm Ampeg SVT 810 with my G.K. head. It was used on some very large stages with some very loud groups. Volume was never a problem.
The secret is to have enough speakers for the 300 watts to work through.
Between the two cabs you mentioned I'd go with a 212.
A 212 will work as a "stand-alone" cabinet if need be. A 210, IMHO, is pretty much a near-field monitor and will need P.A. support for almost every job except low volume, very small room gigs.
