Double Bass Looking for a preamp/box(es) to do the following..

I had the D-Tar Solstice years ago but at the end I don't like for doublebass (or at least my db with Underwood and sometimes a dynamic mic). I think the eq is not right for our purpose.
I sold it to a friend of mine that plays acoustic guitar and now he is very very happy.

Something else that bothered me was the Phantom Power only providing 15 volts. So I passed on it. DPA published this little table for the 4099 mic it doesn't give figures for 15 volts. But changes occur when you lower the power supplied to the mic.

Yes - for the record, the DTAR Solstice does not provide enough voltage for the DPA mic to work effectively. A separate phantom power supply (or mini mic preamp w/48v phantom) will be required if you use them together.

Hey all - I got the DPA mic, the ART preamp (which can send separately to the house + amp) and a DTAR, which has all sorts of inputs and outputs to have control. Got it all from Gollihur. It just arrived, this weekend I have a doubling gig in a theatre venue with a sound system so i'm looking forward to trying it all out. Looks like a great solution, and came in at under a grand from Gollihur.
