I'm looking for a nice little bass amp that can be used for double bass and electric bass as well. Small and lightweight are some must have features. Another feature it needs to have, is that it can rest on the ground pointing up at an angle, something like 45 degrees, would be great.

Aside from that, the cheaper it is and the better it sounds, the better.

I hope that isn't too tall of an order.

Check out the DB forum. Lots of threads about this in the last few weeks, with lots of good information regarding DB and amping, and much less noise.

You might check out a used Fender Rumble 75. Heavier than the current Rumble series, but does have the kick back design and a great sound!

Yep. I have one and it works great for even small bar open jam nights . Not very light, though.

Thanks for the suggestions, but unfortunately these models don't tilt back, which is a key feature I need.

Build yourself a small wooden ramp that will tilt the amp back enough to suit your needs.

Specifically, a Rumble 100 sounds like it's a pretty good match... light and cheap and sounds great. Never heard with DB though. Of course, it would need a stand or wedge.
