Looking for a Squier fiesta red P bass

Any experiences with the Vintage ICON series?

Solid dependable basses.

A common sight in the UK with the 80's bands still out there playing, Saxon and Big Country being the biggest (no pun) I remember seeing with Vintage gear.

I owned a couple of their upper tier models, V1004 SM and V1005 SM,. They were top notch bits of kit.

Squier CV or Vintage V4

I want to buy a second P Bass so I can have flats and rounds available without restringing and also so I have a cheaper P to take to band practice without having to take my main Fender. It's between the new Squier CV (not the older one that is hyped, the new Indonesia version) and a Vintage V4. A...

The Vintage Icon Series in "Firenza red" looks pretty good.
The Fender Player II in coral red is also not too far away...Resell Value should be a lot better also...but that slight pale red of the fiesta...I think I need that...

Well. Now I’m looking at those Fender Player II Coral Red Pbasses, and they look pretty awesome to me.

And now with people asking $1k for the Squier CV, the Fender Player is looking like a decent deal at $850 new and less used.

There are some videos comparing coral red to fiesta red, and I have to admit that I think I need to see them in person to see the difference.

Aaaand I don’t need another Precision bass. In fact , I already have several including a Sonic blue one from the 2007 Squier CV run, a Graffiti yellow Squier Sonic , a Aerodyne special in white with black binding, and a Classic 50s in black.

Good luck finding that model. Those came out of the Grand Reward factory in China circa 2012 - 2015. They have a reputation as being among the best Squiers ever made.

If you should fine one it will be EXPENSIVE.

I have a 2012 Matt Freeman PBass in black/black/maple I'll never sell that I paid just $300 for. It's the best PBass I've ever owned including an all original 1963. Incredible neck on mine.
