Looking for a Squier fiesta red P bass

I desperately need a fiesta red P bass, because.
Is anyone in the EU and has one? The Fender version is out of my budget and the Squier Classic Vibe 60's looks amazing. Unfortunately they dont make them anymore...

cheers

I picked up one similar a couple of months ago from reverb for a great price.

Great basses. I’ve owned about 12 -13 of them. I’ve had every finish except the FSR shoreline gold.

My current one is from the first year production 2008 in Sonic Blue. My favorite finish of them all.
It has faded into a nice Tiffany Blue hue. 😍🩵

Reverb is where I see them most often and eBay. There was one on eBay last month in fiesta red. I’ve never paid over $400 for mine. That’s a bargain on my book. It’s a bit up from $250 when I began buying them.

Would you consider other brands?

There is also a used Fender Player P-Bass for 650€ on Kleinanzeigen.de, the seller accepts the protected purchase (he receives the money once you validate the reception of the instrument, but it has an extra cost).

I bought one brand new in 2011 and returned it within the 30 day period. I tried several different sets of strings, and all manner of setups, but the E string was stubborn in its ability to sound like a weak elephant fart. All of the other strings sounded great. I thought about keeping it and pumping money into it for new pickups etc but had unsuccessfully been down that road before.

These are hard to find.
Even just a fiesta red body isn’t so easy to find, and when you do find them, they’re pricey.

A quick search for the Squier fiesta red Pbass turned up one for $650. I guess that’s not a terrible price now that MIM Denders are over $1,000.

Well now I can’t find that $650 one and there’s one on eBay for $1k.

Is Coral red acceptable? It’s pretty darn close to fiesta red. Fender makes the player II precision bass in that color. It’s hard to tell them apart.

What about the J&D PB Vintage 63 sold by Music Store ?

They also expect to have the Firenza Red Vintage Icon is stock by start of May.
The Vintage Icon Series in "Firenza red" looks pretty good.
The Fender Player II in coral red is also not too far away...Resell Value should be a lot better also...but that slight pale red of the fiesta...I think I need that...

I wanna be you when I grow up. I just got an ‘09 CIC CV P Bass in Sonic Blue for $200 locally that’s somehow yellowed to Seafoam Green and it’s killer.

To the OP, if there’s Facebook Marketplace or something equivalent where you live, setup keyword alerts and check daily. It took me 6 years of this to find the one I just bought. If you specifically want the CIC version that they no longer make, be sure to check for the bridge and darker headstock/neck on any red Precision you see. The one I got was just labeled “bass” and had a black replacement pickguard—I only knew it was the one I wanted because of the bridge and headstock color.
