Congratulations, him666! So glad you are liking it. By coincidence, I got mine last Friday also. It's tough to lay out a bunch of money and be unsure whether or not you are going to be happy with the purchase.

As I said, my settings are very different, but that's why the controls are there - so that both you and I can be pleased with the same head. I found a good basic sound in about 15 minutes, and now am "twiddling" a little here and there. Interestingly, I found that even with the scoop at 0, the Active button still has an effect, albeit slight.

I have read many posts here about changing the tubes, but at this point I am well satisfied with the stock stuff and have no curiosity or other itch to scratch. Maybe later on. For now, I'm just discovering and smiling a lot. I gather you are too.
