Looking for small-ish Multi-Mod (chorus, flange, phase, vibe)

I have a few wishes:

1. Darkglass X7-sized or smaller. (Can't exceed 3.65" wide on one side)
2. Ideally sit in the portrait orientation.
3. Ideally, there would be a mix knob for low-end retention.
4. Must have, at least, chorus & flange, plus one other mod effect.

My front runner so far is the Southampton Utility Knife. It doesn't cover wish #3, but is reasonably priced for having four effects in and the size is perfect.

The Empress Nebulus looks really good, with options for each effect, and I could mount it at a 90º angle, which isn't ideal for cabling, but could be done.

I just discovered the Wampler Terraform, which looks amazing. It's 3.75" if I lay it on its side, and I might have the room for it. I do like that basically every effect is there including another take on envelope filtering. This barely fits, but might be worth fiddling.

Any others you know of that fit the size requirements?

Yeah the size is certainly right. I'll look into these guys. I'm not wild on screens and rotary encoders in this type of thing, so that is maybe a demerit, but they definitely do what I'm asking. Will investigate—thank you.

I had the Nebulus as well. Sounds great on bass, very straight forward sounding effects and controls - nothing too experimental. Has very useful options as far as its tweak-ability. If you can get it at a good price, its worth it to cover those effects.

Never had/used the Utility Knife, but have heard nothing but good things and the size factor is hard to beat.

The more I research this Mod 11 the more impressive it seems. Same with the Terraform. I have a feeling this will be a "buy a few, return all but one" situation.

Was thinking about getting a similar pedal the other day. Gotta day the keeley mod station has my eye. I can’t say I’ve tried one yet though

If you want to try out the Wampler and have a computer, they made a free version of this pedal as a plug-in. Sounds fantastic for me

It was the case for me that once I'd experienced the benefits of being able to simultaneously use multiple effects (or even multiples of the same effect!) in any order across multiple patches, my initial apprehension of not being able to just bend down and turn a knob became a non-issue. IME the Zoom 'MS' boxes are such good value, and the modulation models in particular sound really good, that I think there is nothing to lose. YMMV

+1 with the Zoom MS 70-CDR. I've been running one of these for many years. These days I use a Strymon Mobius and a pair of H9's and I've just given my Zoom MS 70-CDR to my guitarist...who's really thrilled with it.

You are saying that you can use Neuro to turn one into the other? It doesn't sound as though they would all fit in the memory of one pedal, at a single time, though.

This is a useful perspective. I'm a "once in a blue moon" mod user, so I really just wanted something simple to operate that would have it on tap. That said, I hear your words.
