Looking for small-ish Multi-Mod (chorus, flange, phase, vibe)

The MS could easily be used in a "set and forget" mode by setting up a 'play list' of 3 or 4 patches (including a "Bypass" patch that has no effects assigned to it) that you can cycle through using the footpedal.
I had an Alexander Wavelength which was a multi-mod and sounded great on bass, especially the filter. No clean blend though.
Mix knob on the lower left. Looks like a decent contender to me.
I'll have to try some to figure out how much I like or dislike secondary knob functions. At the moment, I put up with secondary functions under protest. ("Here, under protest, are beef burgers!")
Aha you're right, my memory failed me. The secondaries are easy to access and set on the pedal, plus you can use presets.
As long as it doesn't produce any gonks.
I'd also vote for one of the source audio pedals based on my limited use of modulation. I have the lunar phaser. The phaser, chorus, and flanger are all basically the same except they each have different controls on the pedal so I would suggest choosing the one that has the most useful knobs for how you intend to use it. Each pedal has the same hardware functionality so you can get the exact same sounds out of all 3 and you can save them to the memory.

Here's my question about those: Do you have to load one of the alternate pedals in order to get its features? Meaning, if I buy the chorus, but use Neuro to load the flanger, does the chorus go away until I Neuro it back to life? Sort of the way the Neunaber stuff used to work?
I can't speak directly to the Mod 11, but I have two Oceans 11s that I run in series when I do dreamy/shoegaze experiments, and they are pretty much flawless. Unless I'm trying to wash out the low end, their sound is clear as day. The range of tonal possibilities is staggering.

I've used mine exclusively in a midi setup so I have like 128 banks setup but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to save settings from the different pedals using Neuro in the 6 memory banks that the lunar/gemeni/mercury have. I will test it tomorrow for you though and send a sample if I can.
I’m just trying to figure out how to make what you propose work without MIDI, apps, USB cables on a regular basis. I would bet they are working on a big mod pedal in the style of the Nemesis and Collider.
I watched a couple videos on the Zoom (the 70 mostly) and it sure does a lot and sounds great. It's really impressive, actually. But I'm turned off by their design philosophy... It just does too much for my liking. I buy with the intent of reducing, not increasing option anxiety! I'm a man who enjoys creative limitations. So I think Zoom is out.

I believe you would just need to use the app to assign a preset to each of the 6 memory spots on the pedal. So you could basically open up the app, make 2 chorus sounding presets, save them, then do another 2 flanger and another 2 phaser. Then once you close the app you'd have those 6 settings saved without having to open the app again. I will test it for you later and post a clip to show that you don't need to run the app or use midi to switch between all of the different modulation effects once they're loaded into the pedal.
Hey, so I was wrong about the SA Lunar phaser with the 6 presets. It can hold 6 presets in its memory but you can only load 3 of them without using an app or midi. So you can save 3 different modulations to it and access them with the mini toggle switch.
I just recorded a sample for you. Its clean tone, then flanger, chorus and phaser using only the toggle on the front after i just downloaded the 3 sounds from ones that people uploaded to the cloud.

Oh nice one. It does sound good. Do those mod pedals have the little button in the back to access the other 3 presets, like the C4 does? That could be one way to do it. I'll do more research on the SA pedals tonight. Thanks for taking the trouble to record something.
The Terraform is very nice. There is something great about having no hidden features, and everything is just there, on a knob. The choruses (a single and a dimension) are both outstanding on bass, the Variable knob acts as a HPF for the effect, so you can filter out as much of the low signal from the low end of the chorus as you want.
Phaser and Flanger are both good. A decent Uni vibe emulation, too. Envelope is solid, not particularly idiosyncratic, but really solid. That's how I think most of these pedals that combine lots of effects digitally are going to be, but this one has a very high quality signal and plenty of tweakability with no faff at all. I don't know if I would make use of it, but how cool is it to have a loop for overdrives to run after certain effects, like the Uni especially. Easily programmable, like a Nemesis or Ventris. I won't likely use the trems as much, or the rotary, but I could see the auto-wah coming in handy somewhere. I would feel confident in this one.
Auto Swell is nifty. I actually enjoyed this more than I expected.
I've never thought it mattered, but a Tap Tempo switch really is an important feature. I think that will help me decide ultimately.

No, that was what mislead me. I have the C4 and it can do 6 presets by using the button on the back to switch to the second bank, however, the 3 SA modulation pedals (gemini, lunar, mercury) only have the 3 presets even though they do have the button on the back as well.
Aha. Possible demerits there, although I've never heard a SA pedal that I didn't like the sound of.
