Looking for some good 70s funk/soul

I'm a huge fan of funk. I played guitar for about a year when I was into classic rock. I'd say the first funk I got into was old school RHCP, and then I found Parliament. Parliament and the album Freaky Styley is the reason I got my bass, and 2 years later I haven't looked back.

Anyway, I watched Dolemite yesterday and Uptown Saturday Night. I loved both movies, as well as the music. Tonight I'm going through Dolemite to try and learn some of it. I also got myself some music by the O'Jays.

Can anyone recommend me some music to check out thats similar to what I've described?

Some of the early Prince is really funky. Lady Cab Driver for sure.
Mark Adams for Slave was awesome, Just a Touch of Love, Slide.
