Looking for the help of a luthier... neck

Hello all,
5 months ago I posted on here about somebody cutting me a neck out of a piece I already own. That never ended up going anywhere, but I am okay with that because I was looking for a 6 string neck.

After 5 months of practicing and playing different basses. I realized I am a 4 string guy.

What I am looking for is a 'telebass' headstock, with a jazz profile. Originally I wanted the neck resawn and the fretboard glued back on, but with how shallow my blank is, that wasn't going to work. So I am hoping to do this 1 piece, with an ebony, walnut, or koa skunk stripe. I don't have my camera on me at the moment, but I will try to get pictures tonight.

If the neck blank isn't thick enough for a separate fingerboard there is no way it's thick enough for a 1 piece, rear truss rod insertion type neck. Or did you mean the FB was too thin?

The neck blank is 1" thick.


edit: I believe the vibe I got last time was that if unless a very thin blade was used to cut the fretboard section that it might be on the verge of being too shallow of a board.
