Check out Carvin. I don't have any direct experience with them but my neighbor's kid got one for Christmas and it actually made him sound better. I can vouch for durability... that kid beats the hell out of everything. Not sure which model it is but his dad paid a little less than 2 bills. It's 100w.

Looking to buy a Small Combo Question

I used to shop at Daddys. They do not ship at all anymore... It really sucks, because I found some really great gear there.

Check their site again. As of Monday, Jan 8, 2007, they've gotten back into it. Probably because they have so many stores in the Northeast that take in trades, they figured the best way to get rid of some of it was to resume "mail-order" , like they had in the early-InterWeb days with Used Gear By Mail (ugbm.com, which is now sombody else's site, as far as I can tell).
The only snag I see with it is they don't post photographs of everything, and they don't describe things adequately. You don't know what vintage some of the stuff is, to distinguish it from the next. You're kind of going in blind to buy something, unlike most eBay transactions. Maybe you can call them and they'll describe it better. But they'll probably find out what it takes to move the gear, I reckon. Good resource, though, for sure.

eden n28s...sweet sounding amp, costs about $350.00 (from bass northwest ~ 50 bucks cheaper than musicians friend), 120 watts and has an aux input for playing with a cd player, weighs about 45 pounds, also has a recording di w/level control and an effects loop...also can be attached to an extension cab for later on (@170 watts)...and then, it's an eden, too
