Looking to upgrade my amp

Hello everyone. I play on two praise teams at my church (one more 'traditional' and the other more 'contemporary'). Currently I just run direct through a generic DI on-stage, but I'd like to have an amp to use as a monitor. I own one of the MarkBass 802 combos (which I haven't used at church) but the tone/volume seem a little lacking. I have been looking at the new Ashdown 1x12 kickback combo (similar wattage to the MarkBass, but larger speaker and more preamp controls). Any suggestions or ideas are welcome. Also open to head/cab ideas, if that seems a better option than a combo. Mainly just looking for something light and portable, but one that can handle 5/6 strings and effects.

What kind of a budget are you looking at? A couple of years ago I looked at the MarkBass 12p combo and decided at that price point there were alot more choices in class d heads and compact cabs. I ended up with a ToneHammer 500 and Berg CN112 and CN210 cabs (normally just use one) and also a Barefaced One10 (ultra light and portable, a blessing when going up and down stairs).

Not quite sure yet on my budget, but ideally somewhere in the <1k range? Also needs to be something that can safely fit in the backseat of a car.

If you're open to used gear, there is an Audiokinesis TC 112 + Eden WT550 for sale in the classfieds at the moment for a steal price. (I am tempted and I don't need it.)

Would, I think, be a big step up from either of the rigs mentioned in the OP.

I have no affiliation with the seller.
