I just seem to gravitate towards maple lately, which is odd, because the two basses I play the most, are pretty far from having maple boards.

^^Funny story behind Texaco, Joe. When I was a little guy maybe 4-5 years old, the station around from my Grandparents house switched from being a Sinclair Oil which had this out front;

Last I heard, about a week and a half ago, Ryan was working on the neck.
Oh, and Ryan suggested that white binding on the fretboard would look good, so that's being added now.
