hi all , i am a proud owner of another great lej that brian has produced ,

ive had it for about 8 months and im loving every minute :)

any opinions on nickel vs stainless steel ?

at the moment im using black diamond 45-125 nickels , and they feel a bit harder to play , and i feel the low B does not come out as well as it can , if u know what i mean ...

That bass is hotter than a 10 lbs bag of Jalepenos!
 
I'm just putting this out there - I prefer the 2 band LEJ pre. It's nice and simple. I often wonder how many times we actually use the gazillion controls on a preamp; I know that I personally tend to set and forget and play my LEJ in the passive mode nearly all of the time.

Passive mode huh? I haven't done that much with mine...I should really try that. I think I just like the extra headroom from the pre!
