Plan to get another LEJ5! Do you guys think I should go classic or exotic? The classic would be sonic blue with nitro, white PG and chrome pup cover. The exotic would be Burl maple top. Both alder/RW. Never owned but one exotic top, quilt.

OMG yes classic for sure, that blue one is to die for...holy moly with that rosewood fretboard, now that right there is a sick looking and i am sure sounding bass......that is a no brainer for me........CLASSIC exactly like that.

I was really gassed on the exotic, but really like the look of the classic. I was thinking white on white, but I have another bass coming in white. But, I like the way the blue look. Also, thought about seafoam green. The chrome cover will set the classic off. Also, getting 60's pup position.

Are you going for a fiver or a six?

I played the six string at church yesterday. Out of all the basses I've owned, nothing cuts better than the LEJ live. I didn't have to crank my amp up, like I did with previous bass. Also, the necks are the best. Can't wait to have another one back in my collection.
