Lowest Priced New Basses Ever??

Hasn't happened yet, and these basses have been around going on three years.
I'm sure that location and who you know plays a big part...but myself and member jawamac can't give these away. There's a charity ten minutes north of me. I'm about ready to stop there and see if they'll take my $35 sunburst exquisite bass.
Thet is.my goal, to give them away. But first I want to try one to see if it is even worth gifting to someone.
When/if they arrive, the ST will be a house guitar for people that want to jam.
The Exquisite P will likely be used for parts and/or modding.
I've really been enjoying my $56 (now fretless) P bass. I think if someone is genuinely interested in making music, you can't go wrong. Or if someone is into tinkering/modding. My $35 bass got a setup and I modified the pick guard, I'd love to pass it onto someone just starting out. It really should get strings though. The Glarry/exquisite strings are just awful in every way.
I broke down too. I bought the black Glarry with the amp. For less than $20 shipped (which is less than I spend on lunch on occasion) you almost can’t not try it. If the bass is a total loss and the amp works, you’ve made your money back + some. If the amp doesn’t work and you just use the bass for parts it’s still worth $20.
If all else fails and it’s a scam it’s still only $20. I could drop a $20 bill out of my wallet on accident and not even get upset about it. My wife blows cash like that on a whim all the time. Not worried.

You lot are a bad influence, I’ve just ordered a sunburst P for £15! It will probably get de-fretted. I’ll post up my impressions when it arrives mid-March.

I don't live in the US though, so I doubt it's accurate enough for me to worry about posting it publically.
oh.I guess...but thats pretty odd..USPS sees that info and place of origin accurately as well. and I doubt anyone would hijack the 17$ bass if even possible.
Now that we know that the Pangolin is the source of the extinction of mankind, I did a logo you can decal onto the headstocks of our Chinese basses.

My wife runs into a lot of fraud with shipping and hacked accounts. They hack accounts, purchase high end items with the legitimate account holders info. At the time of purchase, it's addressed to the account on file. Then the thief reroutes the shipment to a forwarding address. By the time the account holder gets the bill and disputes the charges, little can be done.
It's a big problem that results in significant losses.
