Hey cheese, I bet he'd build it that way if you asked. They were willing to do some routing things when I had my V4 built which I eventually decided against, but they were at least willing to have the conversation. (my request was to do a bigger universal route so I could drop a P in the neck spot if I wanted to)
What's nice is that you can call the shop and talk to Mike directly
Cheese, I've been bothering Mike about a potential new build for the past year and a half, and he's always been very good about answering my questions and taking the time to go over the details with me.I know, but I hate to bother people until I am pretty close to actually spending money.
Mike's personal preference is 60's spacing on a 35" scale bass because he thinks 70's spacing doesn't sound right on 35"...
So, he will do it... but he'll also try to talk you out of it.
