Double Bass Luthier in St. Lawrence County NY

Hey everyone,

today it occurred to me that I really don't know any luthiers in St. Lawrence County in the upper corner of NY state, and I was wondering if anyone knew of anyone.

Not looking to get any work done on the bass right now, but I figured that having a phone number in case something goes wrong would be helpful. I have already met one guy who specializes in bow repair which is fantastic, and the college has a repair guy (although he deals mainly with school instruments), but sometimes I do like to poke my nose in shops or hang out in a workshop for a day(Sam Finlay knows that!) . But it would just be nice to have someone who specializes in instruments now that I know this winter is going to be an extremely cold one!

I don't know about specifically in St. Lawrence County, but there is Robbie McIntosh in Cambridge (a few hours away), and Paul Perley in Berlin, VT, also a few hours away. Rob Morse, who works in Paul's shop is an excellent jazz bassist to boot!
