Luthier to Convert a Long Scale Bass Into Medium Scale?

I've done it to a few guitars. Two I have used Brad Lowe 32" conversion necks and one I had a local luthier build me a new neck with a 32" scale for a Cort B4. Of course these were all bolt on. Didn't have to move the bridge in any of these cases.

Fortunately, we did the conversion from long scale to medium scale very simply: we moved the nut up to the first fret.

It's been another year since my last update. The medium scale NT4 is still my number one bass. I'm still thinking about lightening the body, but I'm concerned about balance issues. I'll probably keep it as it is.

I don't think I mentioned it in this thread, but one of the things I like best about the Thumb NT4 is its carved body. When I go back to my once-favorite Alembic Spoiler (that's also a neck-through), or any of the 34-inch bolt-on basses (e.g., Jazz, Precision), I appreciate getting back to the Thumb even more.
