Luthier's Name?

I'm trying right now to remember the name of a luthier whose basses I looked at online like 10 years ago....


I know this is a long shot but he had a french name and used Koa and cocobolo on alot of the basses and they had a little bit of a ritter look to them if you maybe made them a little less flourishy and a little more traditional looking.

I think his last name started with a D but I could be totally off on that.

Aggh they look similar but I'm not sure. The website deffinatly doesn't look the same. It was a black page but it could have been redesigned.

Some of the bodies look really similar, maybe he just changed his designs since last time I looked.

I wouldn't be me. I haven't been building that long and didn't have a website 10 years ago...but you're more than welcome to order a bass.

Maybe Bilodeau ? More of a Thompson look than Ritter, and I don't think he's been building for 10 years, but still ...

He is in Canada, and sometimes post here too.
