I did reach out to Stew at Nordstrand, he said they are also currently waiting for the supplier to get inventory, so they may actually benefit from contacting digikey.

Out of curiosity, do you have a link at Digikey? Been searching and only finding single style ones.

That's a dual gang, but single pot, as far as I can tell.
These are proving elusive... and I'd be happy to go with another brand, if I could find one.
I forgot who made the ones for Audere and East, but those would work well enough.

None of these sites make it very easy to find anything like this. Believe me, I thought I've had winners time and again, only to be foiled by a similar spec.

Try contacting Digi-Key directly. Send them pictures and technical specs and ask them if they have a source for that exact part, or a functional equivalent. Digi-Key is very responsive to questions like that. That's what they do. They source electronics parts from just about every manufacturer in the world.

By the way, if you haven't noticed, the price of high grade potentiometers has about tripled in the past ten years. The PEC brand that I use were about $8 each in 2010; they are $25 now. The reason is that there is rapidly decreasing demand for them in the electronics industry. It's all pushbuttons and digital circuits these days. The big manufacturers have stopped manufacturing them.

Thanks, I will definitely give that a shot.
Being a part that is used in MANY basses still to this day (a stacked preamp pot is certainly not uncommon), I would have thought this would have been slightly less rare. But to your point, the MI business isn't quite as large as other industries and the smaller parts are taking over.

I'm seeing that as well. At least we don't use tubes in our basses.

The good news is that pots aren't really difficult to manufacture. Eventually, if the big manufacturers all stop making them, some little guy could start manufacturing them in his garage. A specific high quality version designed for use in electric guitars. You could do it, if you wanted to. Have the metal parts made by someone like SendCutSend. Cast the main bodies yourself from polyurethane resin, with a separate cast track of carbon-filled resin. Assemble them yourself and sell them online. Like you've done with your bridges.

Emerson Custom is already in the OEM potentiometer space, but yes, finding small, niche OEM markets that larger entities have overlooked is the best strategy for success in the small builder space. 32" scale conversion necks and multi-course bridges have been my bread and butter.
