Mackie Mixer

An old made-in-USA VLZ mixer is an awesome piece of gear, well worth that price. A more recent made-overseas one is no better than Behringer. Note that I mean the Mackie in particular, not all overseas products--in fact the other brand that I'd highly recommend in your price range is Yamaha.

I dont know much about PA systems. I was looking to buy a Mackie 1604 VLZ Pro. I found this for 375 is this good? Is this a good mixer to purchase? Or should I be looking for something else?

That's around what I paid for my Soundcraft fx16, which is a FAR better mixer... I saw another of those on Daddy's website the other day, actually...
