Mad Professor Bass OD???

I emailed Harri Koski and asked if Mad Professor will ever do a bass OD like the BJF BBBOD?

And received the following response...

"...our next pedal will be an updated version of BJF BBBOD, with more gain available."

This is excellent news. Oh sure, Mad Professor pedals are nearly as expensive as BJFE, but holy balls are they a LOT easier to find. Which is sort of the whole point.

Since I have once again retained ownership of a Blue Berry, all I can say is I was an idiot for letting her go the first time. I'll buy this MP version for a dollar. Or, likely 300 I guess.

+1... I'm on the waiting list for a 3BOD from Custom-Sound, but this changes things.

I have a SWAW and it's a ridiculously cool pedal... very well made and sounds great on the bass.

Oh yeah, I definitely agree that the difference in quality/magic between Björn and Björn's Trained Monkeys are minimal at best. You definitely get your money's worth with either one.

Looking forward to this, and hopefully (someday) a BJFE Bass Fuxx god dammit. Or I'll just break down and buy a Fire Red Fuzz eventually.

A bass fuzz has been rumored for awhile, maybe it's time. You know Bjorn's wife is/was a bass player. Maybe we should lobby her for help......ya know....if Mom ain't happy, nobody is happy.
